What's on my desk for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday?
A no-sew bag I made using two bamboo rings I bought in Japan and a "furoshiki,"
A giveaway journal my hubby received that I need to paint over (here is the front that I already finished painting over)...
and some of my old toys that I got from my parent's home - my old sewing machine (it really worked!)
my Tammy doll (did any of you have a Tammy?)...
and my favorite mechanical photographer (until now, she still "takes pictures"!)
And for this lenten season, something for Word Art Wednesday...

What a wonderful bag :-), and I love what you did to re-use the diary, taking it from utilitarian to beautiful.
Your dolls are so sweet, even now. I have seen machines like that, but never owned one :-).

Love all those goodies on your desk! What fun having some of your old toys. I have an old bridal doll that I'm planning on making a dress for. I am still searching my mom's house for my little old sewing machine from the 1960's, it really worked like yours. But yours is cuter! Mine was just plain grey. Happy WOYWW #300! Sandy Leigh #58
Wow those old toys are so facinating. They certainly don't make them like they used to. I had a easy bake oven..the only thing that actually worked..until you ran out of mixes and Mom wouldn't buy more..LOL Happy 300th WOYWW Shel - paperocotillostudio #25

The front of the journal is BEAUTIFUL. The art brought me back to days in the choir singing that wonderful scripture in the hymn. Beautiful memories, beautiful art. Oh you've got so much going on. The old toys are wonderful and must bring back so many memories. I don't think I've ever seen anything like any of them. The sewing machine is really great. It would be an awesome display piece.
