WOYWW in Seoul, Korea

A hotel bed in Seoul, Korea is my desk for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.
There is a lot to see in Seoul; from traditional architecture...
to contemporary, such as their new City Hall building...
and the amazing Dongdaemun Design Plaza.
There are a lot of traditional crafts, such as calligraphy...
as well as contemporary...
and their costumes are beautiful! My sister Patsy and I got to try them out for free!
And some Word Art for today...
I'm posting from an iPad today so I'm crossing my fingers that my post will be ok!

WOYWW: Christian Art

When I was a child, the days seemed to go by so slowly.  It seemed like Christmas (and my birthday the day before it) seemed to take forever to come.  But now, the days seem to whiz by and it is already September!  And it is already Wednesday and time for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday and Word Art Wednesday.

Seems there is so much to do and so little time.  I guess it is because I have been traveling a lot.  See how I am packing for another trip.  This time to Seoul, Korea...

But, I'm delighted that I got to paint something during our "Paint Party" last Saturday...

and of course, no matter how busy, I try to keep up with my prayer journal illustrations...

How are your days going by?  Are they whizzing by just like mine?  I hope you continue to find time to have some quiet time and do the things that bring you joy!

WOYWW: Japanese Goodies

I arrived from Osaka, Japan a few hours ago and my desk is filled with stuff from there!  I bought a lot!  My favorites - Japanese Chiyogami papers...

Copic and Posca colored pens...

and food!...

My prayer journal illustration for Word Art Wednesday even has a Japanese lady in a kimono decorated with my current favorite Uni-ball Signa white pen...

It has been a blessed trip and we saw many fascinating places - Osaka Castle...

Nijo Castle in Kyoto...

the Golden Pavilion in Kyoto also...

Todaji Castle in Nara...

WOYWW: Paete Finds

I just came from Paete, a few hours drive away, a town with "a long reputation for its craftsmen, highly skilled in wood carving and its embellishment.'  I came home with a pair of hand carved plaques, 22 cm in diameter, which I bought for £6.25 (perhaps I should paint some parts of it?),

and a little angel (wingspan only 8 cm) that I bought for less than £1.40

Lovely finds and what a bargain!  That's What's on My Workdesk this Wednesday

And for Word Art Wednesday, a pair of illustrations for you...

with wonderful promises for God's people!  I am off to Osaka, Japan today so I am busy packing!
