WOYWW: Two Desks

What's on Your Workdesk this Wednesday?  Nothing arts and crafty on my main desk but there is a very interesting newspaper article featuring my high school classmate.  It says skin-to-skin contact between a mother and her baby immediately after birth and breastfeeding are essential and reduce the preventable causes of deaths in newborns.

And there are three miniature books (one of my many collections) that my brother gave me...

There is more art on my prayer desk, where I am finishing the illustrations for the past 2 days...

Even if I start an illustration during morning prayers and reflection, I often have to finish it later, coloring it in and adding some details.

Here is one illustration for Word Art Wednesday.  It's been a busy weekend and still another one ahead! I hope all is well with you.

WOYWW: My Prayer Desk

Nothing new to see on my regular desk today for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday so I decided to show you my prayer desk today, with some books for Lent...

some past journals, the illustrations of which I post in my Instagram account...

...the illustration for today, not yet finished...

and right beside my desk, my cart filled with my favorites.

Look what I found recently...

...my daughter's baby shoes! And she just turned 25 years old!  How time flies!  Life seems to go by so quickly and it is a challenge to live it well...

Although I do not seem to find the time to visit a lot of you, I still keep WOYWWing in hopes that I will find the time.  Also sharing with Word Art Wednesday (if I remember to link).  Blessings to all!

WOYWW: Old Toys, etc.

What's on my desk for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday?

A no-sew bag I made using two bamboo rings I bought in Japan and a "furoshiki,"

A giveaway journal my hubby received that I need to paint over (here is the front that I already finished painting over)...

and some of my old toys that I got from my parent's home - my old sewing machine (it really worked!)

my Tammy doll (did any of you have a Tammy?)...

and my favorite mechanical photographer (until now, she still "takes pictures"!)

And for this lenten season, something for Word Art Wednesday...

Blessings to all!
