WOYWW: In Dire Need of a Tidy Up

Even the push back method could not help my desk today for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.  The pile is just too high!  On top of the pile are some materials for a collage I am planning to make, including an old "Barong Tagalog," traditional Filipino formal wear for men...

some locally produced Human Nature products (no chemicals) and seed pods...

and one of my prayer journal illustrations for Word Art Wednesday, with a blessing for you, my dear blog visitors! Thank you for your encouragement.  It is much appreciated!

Haven't been around for a couple of weeks so have scrolled down to read your previous posts about your beloved Mum. I'm sorry for your loss, always a big gap in your life when a parent dies but a gap that is filled by love and good memories.

I think creativity may be measured by the piles we build on our desks. The embroidery work on the Filipino men's shirt is beautiful and reminds me of the Mexican guayabera. Blessings!

Hi Peggy,
Unfortunately I didn't get to see the first two photos. also, it takes a long time for my computer to load your page (this also happens with your sister's blog).

I did get to see your journal page. Another lovely piece of inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by already.

Happy belated WOYWW

So sorry to hear about your mum, a big loss and a hole in ones heart.

Lovely artwork as always and now I see you are sewing - hope we get to see the Barong Tagalog when it is finished.

Thinking of you all

Sometimes when I see clean work stations I wonder what it would be like to have everything put away. When I do sit and put things away I am just putting them in order and refreshing my mind as to what I am up to. I usually have 6 projects on the go and piles set here and there. Your ATC card with the BLESSING is amazing. This is a beautiful work of art and I thank God you shared your talent with us this week at Word Art Wednesday.
Blessings, Carole

Awesome desk! I love all the various things to look at. Those seed pods are interesting! We don't have anything similar here in Oklahoma. Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Vickie aka okienurse #72

Sorry I'm late visiting. It's been a busy life-gets-in-the-way type of week. That fabric makes me want to sew some art quilts. Seed pods are curious. Like Vickie, I've never seen anything like them. Happy very belated WOYWW from #7.

Such a wonderful illustration. It is very pretty and love the colors. Your work desk is not that bad. I can create a lot of mess when I'm creating too. I just have to tidy it up as soon as I'm done...LOL Thanks for joining us at Word Art Wednesday at our last week's Challenge. Hope you join us again this week. Leaving you with some inspiration from Psalm 120:1 which says, "I call on the LORD in my distress, and He answers me." Hugs and blessings...
