Here is my work in progress, "Bibi". From yesterday's colored pencil sketch, I added watercolors and copic markers.
As I shared yesterday, "Bibi" is an East African female name meaning "daughter of a king." Instead of a crown, Bibi is wearing a turban and carrying some cloth. And so it is with us who see ourselves as daughters of a King. Although our crown is invisible, as we go about our daily lives, we can have confidence and rejoice in the knowledge of our identity.
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1John 3:1

Oh Peggy - thanks for commenting on my blog and I can fully understand your grief at losing Watson. I would be just the same should Spencer ever stray. He was given to me by a friend many years ago and it started out as a bit of fun but now has become part of my holiday to take him with me. How can one get so attached to a bear?
She is magnificent..beautiful work..she is truly beautful within!
