WOYWW: Desk To Go

Yesterday, I spent the day at the hospital watching over my mom and the box on my desk is the "desk to go" I brought with me. It has the basics of my prayer journal, water colors, pencil, pens, a glue stick, a small pair of scissors and some scraps of book paper and scrapbook paper. And I guess you can see the blood pressure monitor that I have been using a lot these days.

Although I hardly get to visit anyone to check on What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, or to check out Word Art Wednesday, I still join up because if not, my blog would fade into oblivion.  Thank you so much for all your visits and encouraging messages.  Every little bit of encouragement helps me go through these challenging days. And of course, I run to the Word of God to help me.  I pray for the grace to see beyond the circumstances and always have hope whatever happens.  Blessings to you, dear blog friends.

  2. We understand that you can't always join us, but there are times you are able to visit me when life got in my way. It's sort of a reciprocating thing. BTW, your mother is still in my thoughts.

    Happy WOYWW from #1.

  5. Not been around much recently, only back to blogging last week so I am catching up. So sorry to hear your mum is not well, I know how hard it is to care for a parent who is ill or in hospital, it seems so wrong when you are more used to them caring for you. I'm sure your presence and prays bring her a huge amount of comfort.v

  10. Your journal pages are wonderful! I can so relate to this...when my Mother was ill, I took my crocheting to the hospital with me, and then went home to stay at her house to care for her...my desk for creating and making cards...was a lap desk. (she didn't have a work area for me in her apartment! I maanaged to make quite a bit just working with my lap desk (which was my score-pal. Prayers for you and your Mother.

  15. "Heavenly Father, I come to you today in behalf of Peggy's Mom whose battling sickness in the hospital. I may not know her and Peggy personally but you know them Lord Jesus! You know their ins and outs as well as their needs. I command the sickness to be destroyed in her body as I plead the blood of Jesus on her and all the benefits that was won by Jesus on the Cross. What is impossible with men are all possible with you. Touch her with your Holy Spirit and manifest the healing even as I speak. Thank you, Lord, that you have heard my prayer. I give you all the honor and glory for the amazing thing you have done. In Jesus mighty name, AMEN! Be comforted by the peace of the Lord, Peggy! Just want to tell you how pretty your artwork is and like you, I also bring a bit of my crafts when I go to places where I'll be stuck for a while. Crafting is a blessing from the Lord. So grateful you joined our Challenge here at Word Art Wednesday this week. Leaving you with God's Word in Psalm 34:8 which says, "Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him." Hugs always...
