The week flies by so quickly and before I know it, it is time for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, where we get to peek at WOYWWers' desks and show ours. On my desk, a brochure for hiking shoes...
...(no, this is not usual for me!) for a planned "Camino de Santiago de Compostela" next year (we are planning to walk only part of the way of this pilgrimage route in Spain). Anyone have any recommendations about hiking shoes?

ReplyDeleteWhile visiting in Germany I thought it would be a great place to hike, lots of trees and paths. Have fun, would be great exercise outdoors. It's like cooling off too fast here, had to add a blanket to each bed. Enjoyed your lovely photos.

ReplyDeletethe only thing I can say about walking boots is buy what you can afford cheap will not work and may give you problems. Also start wearing the boots around the house or when you go out so that you wear them in.
I was very happy to get your ATC from the anniversary yesterday, it really gave me a lift when I was not feeling too good so thank you for that beautiful ATC]

ReplyDeleteI don't have a lot of experience hiking but I do have 40+ years experience with feet! I swear by Merrill shoes and except for my house slippers I won't put any other shoe on my feet. I originally wrote "mouse slippers" and had to stop writing because of fits of giggles. Love your display of all sorts of lovely things. I'm sure it all has great memories. Take care.
