What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday: ATCs

My sister Patsy is celebrating her birthday today!  Happy Birthday, Patsy!  Patsy and I held an ATC workshop last Saturday and it's put me in the mood to make and trade more ATCs!  On the top of my desk picture are the cards I started during the workshop (we painted over magazine photos).  This space is practically the ONLY working space left on my desk so I took over the bathroom counter when my husband was out, hoping I would be done by the time he got back.

The whole counter was filled with ATCs in the making when he got back and I said "Oh, you caught me!"  Hubby: "With what?"  Me: "Making a mess!"  Hubby (not surprised): "You're always making a mess!" Ha, ha!

And for those of you who enjoy the pages from my prayer journal, here is a prayer that the Lord will hear our prayers.  If you're in a difficult season of your life and it's taking some time for your prayers to be answered, you might enjoy the beautiful song I posted last Monday.

For more desks to take a peek at, hop on over to The Stamping Ground.  I will also link up to Word Art Wednesday

  2. Great looking line of ATC in the works! I think the spouses of crafting people expect messes and dinner to be late once in a while...mine does anyway! Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great week. Vickie #3

  13. What a clever idea, painting over magazine pictures. I smiled at your story -- that your husband "caught" you making a mess. The poor husbands having to put up with their painting, glittering wives. :) When my husband got home from work last night, I was happily listening to a podcast and making Christmas cards. I was in the zone! Happy WOYWW from Laura #93

  16. Thanks for visiting me. Its funny how what ever number I am you are often either ending with the same number or 5 away somewhere or other. The Lord moves in misterious ways! Your prayer journal is always uplifting and good for the soul.
