I am trying out some new paints on my WIP Madonna. One day in the hardware store, my sister Patsy saw a bunch of "Paint Pods" (sample colors) on sale for ₱20 ( £ 0.31 or $0.48) each. Of course we couldn't resist buying a whole bunch. But since I don't have space for them, they are still in a bag on the floor beside my desk...

What a great find!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your new paints, Peggy - cant wait to see the beautiful art you create with them!

Gros bisous
Those pints are great, I got some for 10p once and still have them! Mind you...they might spell a bit off by now!
ReplyDeleteHave a crafty week! Happy WOYWW

Oh that would have been me too Peggy - just the though of a range of nice pots filled with colour that ONE DAY might be useful...yep, I'd have had one of each too and yep, they would have to live in a bag out of sight!! But you are using them, which is great - the colours are really nice arent they.
ReplyDeleteWOW I just saw some of those paint pots today at the store and was wondering if I could use them in my journal! Looking forward to a review as to how they work. Love the Madonna! You do such awesome work. Hope you have a great week. Vickie #91

Always good to find something not expensive to play with. Great desk. Francesca #94
ReplyDeleteLovely paints and a great bargain.
ReplyDeleteI like your lazy susan with the cups of pencils on it. I have one like that, but unfortunately it has got so squashed by all the things sat next to it that there isn't actually space to turn it any more.
Hi Peggy - Happy WOYWW
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous find those paints were - you'd pay a fortune for those here. I hope they work out ok for you to use in your art works because that would be the deal of the week!!!
Nice WIP as usual Peggy.

ReplyDeleteWhat a bargain! We see each others desktops on Wednesdays....We should do "floor time Fridays" HA...none of us would want to take shots of that!
ReplyDeleteFabulous find with those paint pods, I have been afraid to revisit a paint store since the last time I came home with a load of wallpaper samples! But those little precious sweet bits who could resist? Sandi #42

Great find and what a lovely painting you have there. Are the paints acrylic or water based? Just curious.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Dangina
Your Madonna is looking great. And what a great find on the paint samples. I have bought a few at Lowe's to try around the house. Once they're rejects I can still use them!
ReplyDeleteI didn't like up this week as I'm afraid I won't get around to very many desks.
I love the giraffe mug(s)!!!
Hugs,
Kay
Happy painting! I get really giddy when I find a good buy!
