I have finished my giveaway girls! Each one of them is an original mixed media piece (5 3/4" x 9") painted on book paper coated with gesso, with text I added using the direct image transfer method. The first one reminds us - "Seek and you will find."
As we seek, let us "Find joy in the journey." This painting has book paper circles and a shawl made of real lace.
And for me, "The joy of the Lord is my strength." This one also has a shawl made of real lace.
If you would like a chance to win one of these three paintings simply leave a comment on this post telling me which one you would choose.
1. You are a follower,
2. You posted about this giveaway or posted a picture on the sidebar of your blog (linked to this post).
I will be using the random number generator, so please make sure you leave me a comment for each entry you make. I will pick the winner after a month.
Linking this up in Paint Party Friday!
OK, so I will leave comments...because between you and your sister- I am amazed...God has so blessed you ladies! OK, I loved the second one...but The joy of the Lord is my strength is a verse I claim regularly. SO that one would be first choice, and secondly I would choose joy for he journey and thirdly the face on Seek is so beautiful! Well each is beautiful so I had to just mention each one in a special way, Peggy!
ReplyDeleteOf course I AM A FOLLOWER! Pick me , Mr. Random Generator thingy!
ReplyDeleteOK, I like the idea about posting one of your pictures on the side of my Blog! What a great idea! I will do that OR post to Face book page...or both...not sure! Thanks, Peggy! Fun to join in and try to win!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower and I love your illustrated verses. These ladies are beautiful, and I can't really rate them in order of preference. It is good to remember that we should we should never stop seeking. the Lord always has more to show us, but I think I must go for the third one, "The joy of the Lord is my strength". It would be a blessing to win this to display in my home. Kate x
ReplyDeleteI love the first one. If I'm one of the lucky ones, I would love that one. All of them are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win the third one - she feels like my reflection and calls to me right now when I need strength.

All very lovely ! ~ well done ~ my favorite is the first one ~ something intense and soft about her ~ (A Creative Harbor)
ReplyDeleteYour ladies are all beautifully done. I love the first one best as I am drawn to the smile and the bit of gray in her hair peeking through (as I am letting mine grow in now uncovered)! I like the added lace, but if I were lucky enough to win one I'd choose #1.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance.
I will enjoy following your blog posts!!!!

ReplyDeleteYour paintings are beautiful!! I started following you so I can win one of these babes! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the first one! It reminds me of my Mom.
ReplyDeleteOh Peggy
ReplyDeleteGood to be back visiting your blog to see all the wonderful things you do. You are such a talented lady. Even though I've been coming to your blog on and off for the past almost 3 years, I cannot believe I wasn't a follower until I tried to join (that way it tells me whether I already follow or not) and was so surprised when it let me follow!!! So now I'll hopefully see everything in my reader (I really do have to get better at using it!)!!!
Back to business - which one would I choose? Golly - I really can't choose between them in terms of their beauty or their message, each one is so inspiring - so the only thing for me to go on is the vibrancy of the background - meaning I will choose 'B' please - 'Find joy in the Journey'. I should have this as my mantra because there must be some reason I ended up suddenly with an illness that made me unable to work - and instead being able to visit the lovely blogs of talented people. You really inspire me Peggy - so does your sister which makes me more ashamed for not visiting more often to your beautiful part of the world...(via blogger)!!!
