Hello, dear blog friends! Here is a shot of my workdesk this Wednesday morning...
It's been a while since I made some Artist Trading Cards so I decided to make some after seeing Sarah's My Monthly Mojo post. I'm using a bookpaper background, gessoed in parts, colored with whatever I can get my hands on and then I will layer them with paper scraps.
That's it for today (finally, a short WOYWW post!) and for more desks, drop by Julia who has THE WOYWW list! Happy desk peeking!
can't wait to see everything when you are done.

They look great! Very interesting. What did you apply it with to make the more precise picture or is it a stencil?
ReplyDeleteOh wow. She is just beautiful. I've never made an ATC and was thinking of joining the swap. I'd feel like I'm cheating people though.... as I don't have the experience.

Hi there Peggy, Wow what awesome ATC's you are doing there, great already - you are clever with your gesso faces - now never made an ATC or used gesso! mmm, too many things to do and not enough time! thanks so much for popping over, and for sharing. Happy WOYWW! love, Shaz in Oz. x #67
ReplyDeleteI love your fun idea of small drawings/paintings on book paper -- really neat.
ReplyDeleteI seem to be saying WOW a lot, when visiting blogs but the creations are amazing and it is the first word i think of, your ATC's look brilliant I have never used Gesso, and the book pages are such a good idea i haven't used them before i did print out some free sheet music then distressed it and made ATC envelopes, however my ATC's are more like cutting and sticking yours are ART. Wonderful x Lou#94
