WOYWW: ATCs on a Neat Desk!

My sister has been telling me about "What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday", where everyone who participates posts a picture of their desk, and whatever is on it.  Well, I spent the weekend organizing so I thought I'd join this week.  I got all the colored pencils, pens, and markers in their proper cups in my lazy susan, put the rest of the junk in the plastic bins under my desk, used some baskets to hide my extra papers, and yes, that's as organized as it can get.  Hmmm, looking at the picture makes me want to buy some matching bins or baskets.

Since I have been out of the country, I haven't made anything recently.  That's why my desk is almost empty. (Maybe next time, I'll show you how it really is most of the time.)

On my desk, there are just a few ATC cards I am making for the Trader Kids program, a new program that aims to encourage hospitalized and chronically ill children to express themselves through Artist Trading Cards. The program will bring children together to share, communicate and create bonds by trading their ATCs with other kids in similar situations.  The children will be given  “sample packets” to start them off and as part of the packets, an ATC to inspire them to make their own.  So, they are asking for donations of ATCs from artists who would like to particpate in the program.  Read more about it and see if you would like to donate some ATCs!

  19. Hello Peggy,

I think the first time you 'show and tell' is the hardest!! lol!

Its even more fun when you show and you havent cleared it first as thats what all of our spaces look like!

The thing I like best about joining in with this is being able to meet so many different people and no one is competing!

Its a great crafting space Peggy!
