WOYWW: ATCs and Gel Medium

I can't believe it is time for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday again!  I thought I would try to greet everyone a Happy WOYWW Anniversary last week but the week seemed to go extra quickly!  I am still making ATCs and this time, I'm putting words on them...

I make a photocopy of the mirror image of a word, and use gel medium to paste it face down on the card...

When the gel medium is dry, I rub off the paper with a wet finger and the word gets transferred to the card!  Here is one I've finished rubbing...

I am still celebrating the WOYWW anniversary and if you asked for a trade, I'll have some new cards ready to trade soon!

And as always, for Word Art Wednesday, here is a page from my journal, reminding us that God always leads us...

Thank you for your visits and encouragement.  I hope to do more visiting in the coming week, this time to greet you a belated happy WOYWW anniversary!

That was seriously weird. when I clicked on your link, it took me back to one of your posts in March. Ah well, Blogger does have a mind of its own. Thanks for your visit this week. I agree the week has flow past and I am not sure what I have to show for it before we have got right round to Wednesday again. Your art work is so beautiful, you are a very talented lady. Have a great week. xx Maggie

These are breathtaking, Peggy! How cool the way you transfer the words!! I'm sorry I didn't get by to see you last week and am only coming by for this week. My sister was here and I got more behind than I thought I would! Next week I hope to play in WOYWW again and show the ATCs that I received. Enjoy the rest of your week! Hugs, Darnell

Busy looking desk! I love all the ATC's you are making! Thanks for sharing the technique. I have been using clear packing tape as a transfer medium but the tape stays and stays shiny... Thanks for visiting my blog earlier. Vickie #62
