WOYWW: Still Hoping

Not much progress in the tidy up plans for my desk but from the looks of my desk, I am still hoping to find some time to create... Newly bound journals (I buy big watercolour pads and have them cut and bound since there aren't any reasonably priced small ones available here) and mini canvas panels...

and some stuff I rescued from being thrown away.  Can you guess where they came from? (I would be very surprised if you know where they came from!)

Yes, I am still hoping to find time to return visits and check out what you've been up to, and I apologize for the delay.  I find myself busy with my Mom, who is not doing well, and I have been also trying to research for alternative ways to help her.  It is quite a challenge but I continue to hope.

And so my prayer journal illustration is also about having courage and being stouthearted as I wait for the Lord in this challenging time.

Sharing this in What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday and Word Art Wednesday.  Thank you so much for your visits and your words of encouragement! They are much appreciated!

I'm so out of touch with all that's going on with everyone so have called by for a catch up :-) Lets hope we can all have a fun creative 2014 :-) I love seeing what people do with things that others were throwing out so please show and tell when you've used them.
Hugs,
Annie x

I hate throwing anything away - I always try to recycle everything once! My thoughts are with you. x Jo

Hi Peggy
that is a great idea with the water colour pads as smaller ones would be easier to take anywhere with you. Sending you heartfelt wishes for you and your mum the lord will walk with you on this path.
Are the round things from party poppers?
Have a great WOYWW today and enjoy the rest of your week

Oh my, I don't know what happened there. It should have been lots of hugs and prayers. :)

Peggy,
I know what it is like to care for an aging parent. It has been 19 years today since daddy went on to Heaven. I really like that you don't waste and salvage what you can. Your art is glorious and that is a very verse. It is delightful to see you wonderful art posted in this week’s creative challenge at Word Art Wednesday.
Blessings,
Carole Robb Bisson

Prayers for you and mom. I have entertained art vs prayer journal for a couple years. I know I would enjoy the combination of both. Need the courage/motivation to begin. Your work is beautiful!
