WOYWW: Christmas, Finally

Everyone seems to have decorated their homes and finished their Christmas cards and I have only today decided to start wrapping some token gifts.  No creativity here since I did not make these ecobags, just my way of encouraging my friends to use less plastic when shopping.  But they do come in nice colors and patterns, don't you think?

And speaking of colors and patterns, here's a scarf I couldn't resist buying because of it's colors and pattern!

Last Sunday, we went to a wedding and they had a photo booth where you can have souvenir photos taken.  It's popular for weddings and other big parties here in the Philippines.  I wonder, is this popular in your country?

And lastly, a page from my prayer journal about God's great love for his children.  After all, I think that is what Christmas is really all about...

Sharing this in What's on your Workdesk Wednesday and Word Art Wednesday.  Be blessed!

I am with you. I'm just getting started. I am just now starting card and not a lick of shopping started. Does thinking about it count? :)
I have heard of photobooth rentals for parties lately. But I wouldn't say that it is a common thing everywhere.

The fabric is really nice and I like the ideas of cloth bags rather than paper. Oh and the scarf is lovely. What girl can resist a pretty scarf?

Thanks for sharing.
Have a blessed day!

Love the idea of the photo booth at a wedding. I just heard about this idea a couple weeks ago. We're planning on having one for a company party next month.

I've come to realize that each Christmas is different. Some are low-key, some are over the top. But you know the real meaning, and that's the important thing. Besides there's TONS of time between now and the 25th....to do exactly what you want.

Love the journal page; your girl is so calm, peaceful and beautiful.

Have a great week. Sara j #20

Lovely drawing and words, as always.
Great idea about the photo booth, which I have not heard of before. That seems to be a great option for a wedding.
Love your scarf.

I'm glad that there are people who keep Christmas in December, like I try to do. Lovely colours and patterns on the bags and scarf.

I love using eco bags - I make them out of leftover material from other projects and, when full of shopping, I feel I am carrying sunshine with me!!!
Brilliant idea to have the photo booth, wondering how long it will be before it catches on here?

I am planning on getting my tree up today and doing some cards tomorrow. I am so far behind I am like the mad hatter! Love the recycle bags and use them all the time. I figure my grandbabies will need all the help they can get now for a better future! Hope you have a Happy Holiday! Vickie #62

I love the eco bags! I haven't started my shopping yet, and I'm still waiting for my cards to arrive. But our house is decorated, and I'm going to do make a few ornaments later this morning.
Enjoy this blessed season!

Love that wonderful scarves you purchased. The photo booth is not as popular here but I've been on some functions that incorporate them. Anyway, love your journal project. Your drawing is wonderful and the expression on her face is gorgeous. We appreciate you joining us at Word Art Wednesday and hope you join us again in our new Challenge. Leaving you with God's Word in Hebrews 11:1..."Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." God bless always!

Some weddings and church fellowships have photo booths. I think they are a neat idea. I actually had my pics taken in one with our grandson at a church function a couple years ago. Good memories. I really like your journal page. You are right that it is God's love for us that is the source of Christmas. Thanks so much for joining us at Word Art Wednesday.
