Paint Party!

We had a paint party last Saturday and invited a few women for an afternoon of playing around with paints, stamps, bubble wrap and all sorts of other things.  Here is my sister's house, all set for the party...

First we made backgrounds and then we made faces (using the tracing technique - tutorial here).

Here we are, the happy party goers...

and here is my painting today after I put the face unto the background and added some scrapbook paper for a dress...

Still far from finished but I was thinking of giving this painting away as a 400th follower giveaway.  Only two more to go, isn't that so wonderful and amazing?   I was thinking of adding a word or two somewhere in my painting.  Any suggestions?  Or should I wait to pick a winner and ask the winner to specify a word?

Thank you for dropping by today!  I'll be linking up with Paint Party Friday and Studio Sneak Peek.

Beautiful painting (and fun party). I think one word might be overpowering a bit. I like the idea of writing a quote or saying on the branches. Happy PPF!

I love the idea of having a paint party. My Mom, my SIL and I sometimes get together to paint. See those tables all ready...and the wonderful art created makes me want to schedule another paint playdate!!

Your painting is just gorgeous! I think asking the winner for the word is the perfect way to personalize the image for them!

Very nice, Peggy...and happy PPF!

that is absolutely beautiful. I would so love to own it!
It might go nice with Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
